Goof Development Organization (GDO) is a registered non-profit organization established in 2025 by a group of local professionals and community leaders in Somaliland.
 It was founded to respond to the growing challenges faced by agro-pastoral communities — from climate change and land degradation to poverty and food insecurity.

Our organization is community-driven and rooted in the belief that lasting change comes when people take ownership of their own development.
 GDO works with local partners and stakeholders to create programs that are realistic, inclusive, and sustainable.
